“Generally my pictures do not have to be nice or aesthetic. I experiment a lot and take photos of what I see and am curious about what the camera sees because colors can be different and the framing is only a part of the big picture. I am glad if my pictures tell a story and want to trigger the imagination of the viewer. If people stop for a while and look at one of my pictures – no matter how long – my goal is achieved.

Photographs are short moments stolen from eternity. They show the reality of the camera, the perceived reality of the photographer and the perceived reality of the viewer. In this light they are three dimensional even if they are on display only in two dimensions.”
